7-37 sidecar ring and pinion gear set

Ring and pinion gear set with the "old" 7/37 tooth count and 10 spline drive shaft connection. This final drive gear ratio was originally produced as "side car gears" and provide a stump pulling 5.28 gear ratio. These gears are the hot tip for short tracks and stop light to stop light performance, as well as to help haul heavy loads such as side cars. These are gears are made in Germany for Stein-Dinse.  Note: We have been advised that there is a difference in the machining operation on the head of these pinion gears that results in additional machining being required before installation.  This is noted in the photo showing the OEM gear comparison.  Do not order these gears if you are not capable of making necessary modifications.   Note 2: This gear set is available only by special order.  There are no returns on special order parts.  Please read store policies regarding special order items and allow a typical additional 2 to 4 weeks for delivery.
